Witness statement

On the evening of March 13, 1997, thousands of witnesses across Arizona reported a V-formation of lights, with subsequent reports of a single large boomerang or triangular craft moving silently south from Nevada to the Mexico border. Then-Governor Fife Symington publicly mocked the event and twenty years later acknowledged he had personally witnessed an unidentified craft. USAF later attributed the second event to A-10 flares.
